Waffle Ice-cream

Sorry Josh for the wait! Anyways too busy doing something else this week so this is the only time I am able to write another review. Today we have Morinaga's Waffle style ice-cream.

Here it isss....!
nutrition blah blah....

The Grand Prize! cool isn't it?

Side view....mmhmmhm chocolate.....

Cross-section

Of course the glorious taste test!

So we have the waffle style ice-cream, vanilla ice-cream with a chocolate centre and shell. The waffle pastry is soft but tends to get out of place after a bite. This one is pretty big like around 17-20cm and pretty thick as you can see in the photos. This one is around $4 which is alright for an ice-cream this big. I like it how its soft and then crunchy in the centre really makes it feel unique compared to regular deserts. Getting sleepy I'll do another review soon enough....cheerios!

Just to finish off this post I got this product in Thai Kee IGA Market City for around $3 and it contains 2 packets. It also comes in vanilla I also bought it but only decided to make a review on the chocolate one.

e-ma grape flavour~

As promised that I would review the candy E-ma grape flavour:

A candy that when bitten feels like a powdery substance. Grape flavoured that is slightly sour, I tend to suck on these for awhile instead of biting them. Comes in a cool small round plastic case where only one ball can come out at a time. Hmmm nothing much to say about this one its just something fun to eat or suck on when your bored....lolz.....

My iPhone rant...inspired by my dad lol

Well today I am gona express my views about the iPhone 4 and no I am not some douche that disses Apple nor an Apple fanboy just a regular proud iPhone user :] So mainly I am going to talk about the lame ass reception problem that nearly everyone in the universe has heard about. Yep it's true I use the iPhone 4 and covering the little black line on the left hand side bottom corner does in fact stuff up your reception and in Chatswood where I live the reception is so crap for Optus and Virgin users the phone just says searching for network.....sighs not a great use of $$$$.... hmmm so Apple thinks they can just fix the issue now with a simple case giveaway that takes 6+ weeks to arrive T.T logically that mean I need to either deal with bad reception or hold my phone like a retarded mutant for 6 weeks. I believe cases should be offered on the spot, I mean come on apple you can afford to lose $30 per phone after making like 500 off us. It's also sad because some people like me buy the iphone because of it's aesthetics but end up having to use something to cover it. Ahhh apple are you guys gona leave it like this? I am not going to refund the iPhone 4 I love the way it looks but the reception issue is just annoying.... And this post is done in my local library on my iPhone. Enough of ranting and more studying.......more reviews tonite laterz!

Yukumi Daifuku!

After a big dinner and told not to eat ice-cream, i still ate it Lolz.....looks like I wont be doing the E-ma tonite...will do it tommrow but anyways:

Today's treat is Yukumi Daifuku a popular Japanese desert with rice cake flour covering ice-cream. The one that I got is vanilla flavour it also comes in red bean, green tea, and others. Its made by Lotte, a Japanese Korean confectionery company.

Simple cute packaging.....you can't really see it though since theres a massive nutrition sticker on it >.<

Anyways lets open the package: 2 pieces of ice-cream and 1 green fork-like thingyma-bob! xD
What it looks like taken out

Taste Test!

Hmmm munch munch munch.......*swallow*......ahhh verrry soft rice flour coating suits the vanilla ice-cream. The rice flour is tasteless and chewy but is compensated by the sweetness within the ice-cream. One would say this is not worth $4 for just vanilla ice-cream but the outer coating is an unique experience! I got it from the same Atarmon place where I got the greentea popsicle but this one is more "well known" I suppose where major Asian import grocers will stock them like the IGA in Chinatown Market City have these. Anyways getting late here. C u nxt time!

Another pic:
Looks like it won some sort of award

Sighs nothing new in particular to eat today....anyways!

Just thought I might post something random for the time being since I haven't encountered any wacky edible products yet in these few days. But I'll upload pics of where I live below.

These are taken from my balcony I think towards west since its sunset. Just got my camera out since it was a nice deep blue colour lurking in the skies. Hmmm nothing much to type today should be reviewing e-ma candy tomorrow so stay tuned! Laterz.....

1st Green Tea Ice-cream review!

Finished my pasta dinner. Yep my dinners are pretty late.

Hmm this is kinda embarrassing since I can't even type out its brand name but for all the cool Chinese people that can read Kanji (basically chinese characters used in japanese context) it looks like this:

So its green tea paddle pop......ok next image

Greeeeennn @_@ kinda felt ewwww as I peeled it open probably because I kept it in my fridge for a while, alright time for the taste test!

A watery green tea taste on the outershell, its texture is like frozen ice. Then there is a surprising soft creamy green tea centre. The overall taste sweet but they haven't over done it. I would suggest this one on a hot summer's day, genuine green tea flavour on the outside really blends nicely in with the smooth centre. I get my supply from a Japanese groceries store "Anegawa" which is right below Atarmon station where all the other Japanese stores live. Also it doesn't have a funny aftertaste like you don't have to run to get a glass of water to wash down its sweetness but I don't know, everyone is different. This one goes for around $4.50 which is quite expensive for ice-cream when compared to typical Aussie products such as Paddle Pop, Peters ice-cream, etc but bare in mind this is an imported product, Made in Japan. If you are not close to Atarmon you could try the Asian groceries store in World Square they also have a large range of imported goods but not sure if they have this particular one. Anyways this is my first official ice-cream post hope you guys liked it! Love to say more but getting late and this ain't good for my HSC lol.
